Saudi tourist eVisa

How to apply for your Saudi eVisa.

For eligible international visitors attending Kingdom of Gaming 2026, Saudi Arabia's official tourist eVisa is an online application. The official portal summarizes it in three steps: complete the application, pay the visa fee, then receive the visa online.

Application process

Three official steps.

The eVisa portal itself presents the process as: fill the application, pay the fee, get the online visa.

01

Create your account & fill the application

Select your passport type and nationality, create an account, and enter your personal and passport information accurately.

02

Upload details & pay

Provide the requested photo and application information, then pay the fee shown by the official portal. Fees and VAT can change.

03

Receive the eVisa by email

If approved, the official terms say the eVisa is sent as an email attachment. Save a copy on your phone and keep an offline backup.

International visitor → Visa → Hotels

Entry route checked? Plan your stay.

Visa conditions

What the tourist eVisa currently allows.

The official Saudi eVisa portal currently describes the tourist eVisa as a one-year, multiple-entry visa with a maximum stay of 90 days.

It covers tourism-related activities including events, leisure, visiting family/relatives and Umrah excluding Hajj. It is not intended for activities such as studying.

The official terms also state that an approved eVisa does not guarantee entry; final admission remains subject to border requirements and the immigration officer.

Eligibility

Check your nationality on the live official form.

Saudi eVisa eligibility is actively maintained by the Ministry of Tourism. The safest answer is the nationality selector in the official application form.

Why KOG26 no longer relies on a single “eligible-country count”

On 30 September 2026, different official Saudi eVisa pages were not fully synchronized: the portal homepage and terms showed an older country count/list, while the live application selector showed additional nationalities/territories. We therefore use the live checker as the practical source for application eligibility.

Not on the standard list?

You may still have another route.

Do not assume you cannot travel just because your passport is not in the standard eVisa list.

Contact the Saudi embassy

The official eVisa portal tells applicants whose nationality is not eligible for the standard eVisa to contact the nearest Saudi embassy.

Package-visa route

Visit Saudi currently lists a separate tourism-package eVisa route for passport holders of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Egypt, Jordan and Mexico through approved travel providers.

Recheck before booking

Visa eligibility can change. Confirm your route before committing to non-refundable flights or accommodation.

Important before payment

Approval and refund rules.

The official terms say the application cannot be cancelled after submission and application fees are not refunded if the application is unsuccessful. Payment does not guarantee approval.

Check every passport number, spelling and date carefully before submitting.

Saudi eVisa FAQ

Common questions before you apply.

Answers are based on current official Saudi tourism and eVisa sources. Recheck the official portal before submitting.

How long does a Saudi eVisa take?

The standard eVisa portal does not publish a guaranteed processing time in its terms. If approved, the eVisa is sent by email. Apply early rather than relying on a same-day turnaround. A separate package-visa route advertises issuance within 24 hours, but that timing applies to that package service, not the standard eVisa.

How long is the Saudi tourist eVisa valid?

The official terms state one year from issuance, normally with multiple entries and a maximum stay of three months. The eVisa cannot be extended.

How much does the Saudi eVisa cost?

The Ministry of Tourism terms do not fix a permanent price in the public terms. The current amount is shown during the application and can be amended; VAT is charged at the applicable rate.

What if my activation email does not arrive?

The official portal provides a “Resend Activation” function. Check spam/junk first, then use the official resend page instead of creating multiple accounts unnecessarily.

Can I cancel the application or get a refund?

Official terms say an application cannot be cancelled after submission and unsuccessful applicants are not entitled to a refund of application fees.

Which passport must I travel with?

You must arrive using the same passport used for the eVisa application. The terms also require at least six months of passport validity at entry.

Do I need a printed copy?

The terms require you to carry a copy of the eVisa on your first arrival. Keeping both a phone copy and an offline/printed backup is sensible.

What if my nationality is not eligible?

The official eVisa portal directs ineligible nationalities to the nearest Saudi embassy. Visit Saudi also has a separate travel-package eVisa route for certain passport holders, currently including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Egypt, Jordan and Mexico.
